Griffith Observatory needs you! Though regular operations of the building are funded through tax dollars by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks, special or unexpected needs are supported by Friends Of The Observatory. That's how you can help.

Friends Of The Observatory

Friends Of The Observatory (FOTO) is the non-profit membership organization that supports Griffith Observatory. Friends are people like you, who value the role the Observatory plays in our community and want to help.

Contributions

Friends Of The Observatory enables you to contribute financially to Observatory programs through membership, donations, sponsorships, and other means.

Volunteering

Griffith Observatory is developing a volunteer program for 2007. Friends Of The Observatory seeks a limited number of volunteers to assist with membership.
