Comet Lovejoy
C/2013 R1

Comet Lovejoy (C/2013 R1) is currently visible through binoculars and telescopes. It is located in the northeastern sky before dawn, and is best seen in locations free from light pollution.

The comet has a tail several degrees long and should appear at about magnitude 5 this month.
